Phase I: Recover
A body that feels better moves better. During this phase, the primary focus is on alleviating pain and breaking the cycle of constant symptoms. Clients often experience significant relief and a sense of empowerment as they begin to regain control over their bodies and break free from the limitations imposed by pain. As pain levels decrease and mobility improves, individuals are better able to engage in daily activities and participate in their rehabilitation with greater ease and confidence.
Phase II: Rebuild
Fix the cause. In the rebuild phase, we work together to identify and correct movement dysfunctions, faulty biomechanics, and muscular imbalances that may be contributing to your discomfort or limiting your performance. The emphasis is on fostering consistent and efficient movement through gradual progressions, allowing you to integrate new patterns naturally and sustainably.
Phase III: Resilience
Sound mind. Strong body. In the final phase, our focus shifts to optimizing your physical capacity and preparing you to meet the demands of your chosen activities and pursuits. This phase is about cultivating a balanced and adaptable body that is capable of withstanding the rigors of daily life and thriving in the face of challenges. At this stage, we dial in on consistent and progressive increases in variables such as strength, agility, flexibility, and endurance – the four pillars of SAFE Physical Therapy.
